At Bikram Yoga Stuttgart, they practice a series of 26 hatha yoga exercises, also called asanas. Bikram Yoga is practiced in hot conditions: room temperature of 40°C and a relative humidity of up to 40% support physical exercise, allow the intense stretching of muscles, tendons and ligaments, increase mobility and promote detoxification of the body. Each yoga position prepares the body optimally to the next exercise after it and is a holistic System. Yoga brings the body functions into proper balance. Through targeted compression and subsequent relaxation internal organs are stretched and massaged, glands are stimulated and blood flow in these body regions increases. At the same time the supporting muscles around those organs and glands are trained. During the class the mobility of the body is increased along with detoxification and weight loss. This style of yoga is a proven cardiovascular workout without damaging the joints and therefore particularly suitable for people with back pain or knee problems. After a short training period you will notice an increase in energy, strength, balance, flexibility and concentration.
Each class is 90 minutes, during this time any part of the body will be worked. Anyone can join! Yoga requires no previous knowledge. Regardless of age and physical fitness can always learn and practice yoga; old, young, large or small, rusty, flexible, swell or slim! The Hot room is waiting for you.
Physically, the series leads to an optimal posture, a strong back, a better body awareness and provides an optimal body weight.
