Welcome to Empower Fitness and Yoga (formerly Plattsburgh Hot Yoga). If you’re looking for high quality and personal service, you’ve come to the right place. At Empower Fitness and Yoga we’ll give you the attention and personal service you’ll come to expect and enjoy. We are currently offering the Traditional Hot Yoga (90 minute class), 60 minute Hot Yoga, Resist-A-Ball, Yogalates, Vinyasa Flow in a warm room, and Hot Pilates.
Hot yoga is designed to work your total body from inside out, from bones to skin and from head to toes. The heat aids in detoxing and stimulating the organs, glands and cells of your body. Your strength, endurance, flexibility and balance with be challenged, as well as your mind, focus and discipline.

Is hot yoga suitable for beginners?
Yes. Although the first class can be challenging due to learning the poses and the heat, your body will acclimate quickly. There are no expectations for perfection. Take your time and with each practice you will gain more knowledge and confidence.
How often should I practice?
Unlike other more stressful forms of exercise, Hot Yoga can be practiced everyday since it is healing and therapeutic to the body. The more often you practice, the better you will feel and the faster you will experience the benefits. If you have any health concerns please address them with your medical provider and speak with your instructor prior to class.
